Lidwina Ho
Interior Designer
Additional languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean
Lidwina graduated with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design. She began her career at BoConcept, focusing on residential projects in Surrey, where she assisted with furniture layouts and soft furnishings. She furthered her experience working on high-end residential projects for a boutique interior design firm in South West London, including a notable seven-story house overlooking Clapham Common—a venue famously used for Victoria’s Secret photoshoots.
At InStyle Direct, Lidwina brings a unique multicultural advantage, fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Japanese. This linguistic skill facilitates smooth collaboration between teams in the UK and overseas. Currently, she is involved in creating drawings, mood boards, and presentations for various projects, including tailored packages. She also attends meetings with Chinese clients alongside the Sales Team, leveraging her cultural insights and language proficiency.
Her passion for photography provides her with diverse perspectives in visualising spaces and architecture. As a perfume enthusiast, she appreciates the sensory aspects that contribute to creating functional and harmonious environments. Travel has greatly influenced her design vision, especially her visits to Japan—her favourite country—where she admires the organisational skills and efficient use of space in small apartments.
Lidwina draws inspiration from architect Kengo Kuma for his seamless and aesthetically pleasing structures and from the innovative work of architecture firm MVRDV, whose futuristic and organic designs encourage her to think outside the box. She is also inspired by photographer Daido Moriyama’s focus on light, shadow, and contrast—elements she incorporates into her interior design projects to create visually striking and thoughtful spaces.
