During its exciting new brand transformation focused on excellence in business aviation, Bombardier partnered with InStyle Direct to refresh two key training rooms at their Biggin Hill facility. With their updated identity, highlighted by a bold new logo featuring the Mach symbol and a sophisticated near-black and beige palette, Bombardier sought interiors that would echo this fresh vision while supporting their engineers' extended training sessions.

The Challenge

Following a comprehensive rebrand, Bombardier needed an efficient yet impactful refresh for their training spaces. The goal was to create an environment that not only bolstered employee motivation and creativity but also reinforced the company’s renewed focus on precision and innovation. Achieving this meant integrating brand-centric design elements within a hard deadline, all while ensuring the spaces remained welcoming and functional.

    Custom-designed panelling introduced depth and texture, while a shift from stark white to warmer, neutral tones infused the rooms with a modern feel that mirrors Bombardier’s sophisticated colour scheme.

    Upgraded furniture and well-chosen accessories, including subtle aviation-inspired artwork, enhanced functionality and subtly celebrated Bombardier’s storied heritage in business aviation.
  • Agile Project Management:
    Even when initial material choices required adjustments, our team’s swift coordination ensured that alternatives met the high standards of quality and style without disrupting the timeline.

The Outcome

Completed before the Christmas break, the transformed training rooms offer a contemporary, energising atmosphere that resonates with Bombardier’s reimagined brand identity. The design elevates the learning environment for aircraft engineers, paving the way for future collaboration on additional projects—such as refurbishing a canteen and a third training room.
