Showcasing Aspen Residences: Crafting Luxury Show Homes to Inspire Sales

When we were invited to transform two units at Aspen Residences in London—a studio and a two-bedroom apartment, we saw an exciting opportunity to showcase our design expertise. The goal was to create stunning show homes that would captivate potential buyers and accelerate property sales, all while complementing the unique rose gold finishes in the kitchens.

Walking into the studio apartment, we immediately began envisioning ways to make the space feel both functional and inviting. Maximising every inch was key. We selected larger furniture pieces from our stock collection to stay within budget, adding personality with vibrant accessories. By wallpapering the bed area, we crafted a cosy nook that added depth without overwhelming the space. We also installed shelving near the kitchen to provide extra storage and enhance the aesthetic appeal.

In the two-bedroom apartment, the rose gold kitchen finishes inspired us to create a harmonious design that would make these features stand out even more. We chose a warm colour palette of soft pinks, burnt oranges, reds, and peaches set against neutral backdrops. Bold, bespoke headboards became focal points in the bedrooms, adding a touch of luxury. Layering artwork, cushions, and carefully selected accessories added depth and made the space feel welcoming and ready to move into.

A highlight of this project was enhancing the flow of both units and showcasing the stunning views across London. We kept space behind the sofa in the kitchen area to maintain an open feel, making the apartments seem larger and more inviting. Placing the dining areas by the windows wasn’t just a design choice—it was about offering a lifestyle. Imagine entertaining guests with the city skyline as your backdrop; it’s a feature that truly sets these homes apart.

Our design philosophy centred on creating eclectic and contemporary spaces that felt both artistic and comfortable. We wanted prospective buyers to walk in and immediately envision themselves living there. By carefully selecting colour palettes that complemented the unique features of each apartment, we achieved cohesive designs that stood out in the market.

The positive response from the developer was incredibly rewarding. Not only did we meet their expectations, but we also exceeded them. Our interior designer shared, “The clients, the Managing Director, and everyone involved were impressed with the design we’ve done, which has led to a few more opportunities with the client.” It’s always gratifying to see our work lead to continued collaborations.

This project demonstrated how thoughtful design can significantly impact a property’s appeal and sales potential. By maximising space and infusing style, we didn’t just furnish apartments, we created homes that people could see themselves living in.

We’re proud of the transformations at Aspen Residences and excited about what the future holds. Every space has potential, and with creativity and careful planning, we can unlock it.

As an Associate Director with InStyle Direct, I've been with the company for the last 15 years, during which I have had the privilege of working with numerous property developers, letting agents, and private clients. Helping clients achieve the best results for their properties is what drives me. I find it very rewarding when clients get back to us saying how our furniture packs or bespoke design and refurbishment services have helped them get the desired result. Another essential part of my job, and something that I particularly enjoy, is collaborating with talented designers, artists and suppliers worldwide. These collaborations introduce me to fresh design ideas and new styles that I can suggest to clients who are always looking for unique themes that make their properties stand out. As a property furnishing expert, I understand what clients are generally looking for, and that's why I invite them for meetings at our design showrooms in Nine Elms, Chelsea and Hammersmith. This way, clients get an opportunity to view our latest designs and furniture collections, and I can directly propose solutions that best suit their vision. Apart from closing deals and furnishing homes for clients, I have a keen interest in sports and have won a few snooker and pool tournaments. Tennis, golf and swimming are a few other interests that keep me active when I'm not busy discussing design plans and project timelines. Now that you know a little about me and what I do, I would like to use this opportunity to share success stories that I've been a part of and industry insights that I've picked over my decades of experience in the furnishing and design industry.
